Business has always fascinated Matt, and after discovering ISO 9001, he knew it was an industry for him.

Following the 2015 standard changes, Matt became a qualified CQI/IRCA-trained auditor of UKAS-certified ISO management systems. He soon realised that most management systems were unnecessarily complex and burdensome, leading to significant costs in terms of time and finances, and adversely affecting company environments and internal cultures.

Matt recognised the industry had become stagnant and knew there must be a better way. He went to work and the result was EmmersonWills, The ISO Simplification Experts.
